These terms govern your use of Get Daily Quote, operated by Qwikymart LLC. By subscribing, you agree to them.
Service description
Get Daily Quote sends one text message per day containing a quotation, along with its author, source work and year. You choose a style category and the time of day you want your message. The service is delivered entirely by SMS. There is no app to install and no account password.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the authorized user or account holder of the mobile number you provide. You may not sign up a phone number that is not yours.
Signing up
You subscribe by entering your mobile number on our website and confirming a verification code we text to that number. That two-step confirmation is how we make sure a number is not enrolled without its owner's knowledge. You do not create a username or password; your phone number identifies your subscription, and preference changes are made through a private link sent to that number.
SMS messaging consent
By providing your phone number and checking the consent box at signup, you agree to receive recurring automated daily quote text messages from Get Daily Quote at that number.
- Message frequency is one message per day, plus occasional account messages such as a trial-ending notice.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Acceptable use
Do not use this service to enroll numbers you do not control, attempt to overwhelm or abuse our verification system, or resell or redistribute our messages as a commercial product. We may suspend or terminate a subscription that does any of these.
Quote content
Every quotation we send is drawn from a work in the public domain and is matched against the original source text before it enters our library. We record the author, the work, the year, and where a translation is involved, the translator and the year of that translation. Translator credits appear on our website rather than in the text message, where space is limited.
We take accuracy seriously and correct errors when they are found, but we make no warranty that every attribution is free of error. If you believe a quotation is misattributed, tell us and we will check it against the source.
The quotations themselves are in the public domain and are not owned by us. The website design, the compilation and arrangement of our library, and our editorial work are the property of Qwikymart LLC.
Service availability
We aim to deliver every message on time, but we depend on mobile carriers and third-party providers and cannot guarantee uninterrupted delivery. Occasional delays or missed messages caused by carrier issues are not a breach of these terms and do not entitle you to a refund.
Fees and payment
Free trial
New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No payment method is required to start it. One free trial is permitted per phone number, ever. A number that has previously used a trial is not eligible for another one, regardless of how much time has passed.
Near the end of your trial we will text you a link to continue. If you do not act on it, messages simply stop at the end of the trial. There is nothing to cancel and you are never charged.
Subscription
The subscription is $2.99 per month, charged to the payment method you provide through Stripe. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time, either through your preferences link or by replying STOP to any message. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You keep receiving your daily quote until that period ends, and you are not charged again.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for partial months. When you cancel, your service continues through the end of the period you already paid for rather than being cut off. Because the free trial requires no payment method, you can evaluate the service fully before you are ever charged.
Price changes
If we change the subscription price, we will notify you by text at least 30 days before it applies to your account, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qwikymart LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may end your subscription at any time as described above. We may suspend or terminate a subscription that violates these terms, or discontinue the service entirely. If we discontinue the service, we will give notice by text and you will not be charged beyond the period already served.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your subscription, we will notify you by text before it takes effect.
